Please allow us to provide you with detailed information about the important Prague International Fair of the Environment known as "ECO CITY", which will open its gates to visitors at the Prague Exhibition Centre in Letňany already for its tenth time in 2004, namely on March 11-13, 2004.

This International Fair of the Environment was established in 1994 under the name FOR ECO, and it has gradually developed into a very prestigious event.

Since 2002, when the Fair underwent significant changes and its nomenclature was extended with the new and important part "REGIONS, TOWNS AND COMMUNITIES", it has been presented under the name "ECO CITY".

Its 10th year will be focused especially on the following topics: waste products, waste management and secondary raw materials, protection of the atmosphere and alternative energy resources.

With regard to the comprehensive contents of the environment/ecology topics we will try to ensure a representation of all topics as wide as possible, in particular to disseminate the experience of foreign firms dealing with state-of-the-art technologies, and thereby to offer the visitors a wider group of exhibitors presenting their expositions at the Fair.

The core topic of the accompanying programmes will be formed especially by power engineering, which is a topic closely interconnected with environmental issues.

Like every year, the results of the ENERGY PROJECT competition will be enunciated at the Fair.

The above mentioned facts are surely a confirmation of success achieved by all of the above mentioned Fairs. ABF, a. s. continues to intensify its co-operation with the authorities and institutes which take part in the process of creation and implementation of the environment policy in the Czech Republic, especially with the Ministry of the Environment, Ministry for Regional Development and State Fund of the Environment of the Czech Republic. The Minister of the Environment of the Czech Republic has taken over his personal patronage over the ECO CITY Fair.

With regard to the fact that we are convinced that there is without any doubt also enough place for exchanging experience with other countries at our Fairs, we will always be happy to welcome there both foreign exhibitors and visitors. We believe that the 10th international Fair "ECO CITY" will find its place in the diary of your promotional and advertising activities, and that we will have an occasion of welcoming you in March 2004 at the Prague Exhibition Centre in Letňany, whether as exhibitors or visitors.
